Why Locals Love Captain 6
Located in the vibrant heart of Las Vegas’ Koreatown, Captain 6 offers an exceptional Korean barbecue and hot pot buffet experience that will delight both locals and visitors craving authentic flavors and generous portions. This all-you-can-eat restaurant perfectly marries the interactive joy of grilling with the rich comfort of hot pot broths, creating a dynamic dining adventure that engages all your senses.
At Captain 6, the menu is a treasure trove of Korean culinary delights. Popular dishes like Bibimbap Rice, with its vibrant mix of fresh vegetables and savory rice, and steaming bowls of Ramen provide satisfying staples beyond the grill. Yet, the stars of the show remain the premium meats—sliced beef brisket, pork belly, spicy pork belly, and succulent crab meat—that you cook to your liking right at your table’s grill. The two-compartment hot pot lets you enjoy both Sukiyaki’s gentle sweetness and spicy Tonkatsu’s bold kick simultaneously, enhancing your meal’s diversity.
The side dishes elevate the experience even further. Imagine wrapping smoky, tender grilled meat in crisp fresh lettuce, complemented by creamy Garlic Butter, indulgent Corn Cheese, or rich Cheese Fondue. Each bite balances rich umami notes with fresh textures, creating layers of flavor that keep you coming back for more.
For those with a sweet tooth, the dessert selection is both playful and comforting. The Affogato’s silky espresso poured over creamy vanilla ice cream is a refreshing finish, while the Green Tea Ice Cream and Mango Mochi provide a cool, slightly exotic sweetness that offers a perfect palate cleanse after a savory feast.
The ambiance at Captain 6 is laid-back yet lively, with thoughtful music and a welcoming atmosphere that suits casual lunches or relaxed dinners. Customers frequently praise the friendly and attentive staff, who strive to enhance the dining experience with prompt and warm service. Helen Grace’s enthusiasm captures it well: “Wow, the serving size is huge! The staff is super nice, and the BBQ meat is so flavorful. Plus, those unlimited side dishes are the best. I totally recommend this place.”
Moreover, the value is impressive, with a comprehensive $33 all-you-can-eat menu allowing 90 minutes of indulgence encompassing both hot pot and grill. From savory appetizers like fried gyoza and shrimp tempura to unexpected flavors like the “$hit” shrimp dish mentioned by Adam Dardeck, every visit promises new tastes and satisfying variety.
Captain 6 is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic Korean barbecue experience in Las Vegas that balances rich, bold flavors with inviting hospitality and generous offerings. Whether you’re a devoted BBQ lover or exploring Korean cuisine for the first time, this bustling spot will leave you pleasantly full and eager to return.

we got nice meat, and $33 for both hot pot and BBQ was great. dessert was so good I love it (the green tea anko has no green tea taste at all but still tastes good combining with coconut jelly). affogato could be my favorite of this store. they have beef tongue but its really bad, I'm not recommending you order that.

We love how they have both hotpot and grill on the table. We picked 2 soups as Sukiyaki and spicy Tonkatsu. We ordered seafood combo, vegetable combo and steaks combo. We love the sliced beef bristket, pork belly, spicy pork belly, crab meat and all kind of steaks. The fried gyoza, onion rings and shrimp tempura were also good. Also, the lemon sorbet, ice creams, green tea ice cream were good.

For vacation wife and I wanted to try a different Korean BBQ joint that was all you can eat. Found this on Yelp and gave it a shot. In short, we loved it! The ambiance and music was great and we went about 12:30pm on a Tuesday and got immediate seating. Menu selection was great, no complaints. Had ice cream for dessert and that was great way to end the meal. Great service, very friendly staff, would do the all day special again!

Our lunch was excellent. It's $33, and you get 90 minutes. They have both a grill and a two compartment hot pot broth. The meat was some of the best I've ever had. All the appetizers. There are too many choices. The menu changes frequently. Staff tries very hard. The appetizer called the $hit is an excellent shrimp dish.

Captain 6 Korean BBQ is easily one of our favorite Korean BBQ spots. Every time we go, we make sure to order a few tomahawk steaks and load up on brisket — that’s our go-to. The tomahawk steaks are a standout. Thick, flavorful, and perfect for grilling right at the table. When cooked properly, they’re tender and juicy with great marbling. The brisket is another favorite — thinly sliced, cooks quickly, and packed with flavor. It’s the kind of meat you just keep ordering round after round. They also have a solid selection beyond just beef. The appetizer list is decent, with plenty of options to start the meal. The seafood selection adds variety, and they offer soups, different cuts of meat, and vegetables so you can balance everything out. It’s nice having options so everyone at the table can find something they like. Overall, it’s a great place for AYCE Korean BBQ with quality meats and good variety. Definitely one of our regular spots when we’re craving Korean BBQ.

Seated us quickly on a Sunday afternoon. Service was prompt and food was arriving quickly. They seem to enforce the time limit. The tomahawk and rib fingers were the star of the show. Vegetarian options are available however wouldn’t recommend unless your entire party is vegetarian or don’t mind cross contamination. Kid prices: under 4ft $9.95 and under 5ft $14.95.

Very kind server. We were a group of 3 for the late night special $26.95 per person. Great deal for an AYCE. Their menu printout looks way better. Their meat quality is great. Our favorite was the pork kalbi & short ribs kalbi. The hotpot was decent too. Broth was good. Food runner were quick too. Over all we enjoyed it.
